FIELD: veterinary medicine.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to veterinary science, in particular to veterinary compositions for irrigation application or for drop application. Composition contains at least one anthelmintic compound of the class of macrocyclic lactones; and levamisole; wherein said active ingredients are solubilised together in a solvent system containing 50 to 80 wt. % dimethylsulphoxide (DMSO) and at least one wetting agent which is propylene glycol or a mixture of propylene glycol and sorbitol in ratio of 10:1 to 6:1 (wt./wt.). Also disclosed is a method of treating internal and/or external parasites in an animal and using the composition in preparing a medicinal agent.

EFFECT: group of inventions enables delivery of two or more anthelminthic active substances in one solution (or suspension), while simultaneously maintaining stability of composition during storage for a certain period of time.
