FIELD: veterinary medicine.
SUBSTANCE: veterinary composition for external application is claimed for treatment or prevention of parasitic infections or invasions in an animal, comprising: (a) a combination of four active agents comprising fipronil, an insect growth regulator, praziquantel, and the avermectin or milbemicine active agent; and (b) a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier; where the said composition is a liquid composition for external application. The method of treatment or prevention of parasitic invasions or infections in an animal is also claimed, comprising the step in which the effective amount of the above veterinary composition for external applications is administered to an animal in need.
EFFECT: group of inventions is highly efficient for control of ectoparasites and endoparasites in animals.
