FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to laser processing head (1) and can be used for processing materials by means of laser radiation. Head comprises collimator optics (21) for collimation of divergent working laser beam (121) and focusing optics to focus working laser beam (12) on part (14) to be processed. Collimator optics (21) has a first movable lens or lens group (211) with a positive focal distance for projecting source (18) of the working laser beam into a virtual intermediate focus and second movable lens or lens group (212) with negative focal distance for projection of virtual intermediate focus to infinity. Housing (10) of head (1) is intended for passage of working laser beam (12). Projection optics (20) serves to create working focus (15).
EFFECT: proposed are projection optics for metal processing by means of laser radiation and containing its laser processing head.
