FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to liquefaction of natural gas flow by means of closed cooling cycle and installation for its implementation. Fluid coolant is compressed in first compression means, cooled down, pressure is reduced, and then it is reheated in main heat exchanger by means of heat exchange between flow of liquefied natural gas and fluid refrigerant. Compressing incoming natural gas flow in second compression means and supplied to main heat exchanger for its condensation. Second compression means is driven by the same drive mechanism as the first compression means. Compression means are driven at different speeds.
EFFECT: reducing dimensions.
