FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment, namely to a medical connector. Medical connector comprises a first rigid body capable of being connected to a medical infusion line. First rigid body has elongated tubular element, in which there is a channel opening on opposite ends. First open end of said elongated tubular element is able to directly connect with medical infusion line. Said elongated tubular element can be plugged at its second open end by a second body connected to the first body. Said second body is made of plastic material and molded above first body to form integral part therewith. First body has a first end portion having a threaded portion allowing the medical line to attach to the connector, as well as a second threaded end portion capable of allowing said connector to attach to a needle-free syringe or similar medical device equipped with a male luer connector. Said second body of plastic material is configured to cover part of elongated tubular element and extends beyond second end of such element to plug its hole. First rigid body has an intermediate section between the first end section and the second end section. At that, part of elongated tubular element is located on such intermediate section at some distance from wall of this intermediate section, so that together with said wall to form space. Second section of second plastic body covering part of elongated tubular element is placed in this space. At that, the first section of such second body, made as a whole with the second section, is placed outside of the above intermediate section of the connector.
EFFECT: said medical connector can receive fluid from the syringe without needing to equip the latter with a needle; does not require assembly, but, however, contains two materials, one of which is rigid, and the other is plastic; has low cost and is easy to use; has a plurality of parts interconnected so that they can not be disconnected, and thus form a solid body, in order to provide medical operators with a high level of safety during use, as well as in the course of emergency care, when it is required to quickly connect the connector to the components of the medical infusion line.
