FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a method for low-speed balancing of a rotor comprising at least one compressor stage blade assembly. Unit has row of blades located along periphery, and includes circumferential gap. Two or more blades are defined as localized blades, each of which has its angular position in the assembly, on which localized blades are retained. Localized blades define sectors in the assembly. Each sector includes movable blades and sectoral circumferential gaps, i.e. circumferential gap subdivided into sectors. Movable blades for each sector are adjusted along the periphery so that sector circumferential gaps of the sector moves along the periphery further downstream the moving blades relative to the direction of rotation when the assembly rotates. Relative position of sector circumferential gaps and moving blades inside each sector is retained by means of inserts insertion. Finally, degree of imbalance for rotor is determined in conditions of low-speed balancing. Inserts are removed after low-speed balancing and the gaps are retained in order to take thermal expansion of the blade shank.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of low-speed balancing is achieved, as displacement of blades is considerably reduced or completely prevented.
