SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a system for preventing road accidents. System for providing recommendations for avoiding a road traffic accident involves a computer system, a processor configured to notify a user in order to prevent a potential accident and a database in which data relating to a road accident is stored on one or more data types, including at least one from commercial vehicle, non-commercial vehicle, type license plate of vehicle, motorcycle, bicycle or pedestrian. Processor is configured to receive from user via remote computer device user information containing location and current time, selective extraction from database of part of related to accident data, based on information on said user, random generation of notification for said location based on selectively extracted part of data related to accident. Notification contains the cause of one or more accidents at the given location or recommendations for prevention of potential accidents at the given location, transfer of notification to this user.
EFFECT: reduced number of accidents.
