FIELD: vehicle control systems.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a system and a method for ensuring the safety of personal mobility equipment (PME). Method is characterized by the fact that data on position and speed of objects in surrounding space are obtained from radar modules; data on speed, position of acceleration and braking levers, data of accelerometers and gyroscopes of PME are received from the controller; obtaining a video image from the camera, selecting and classifying objects using machine learning methods; determining coordinates and speeds of objects relative to PME; performing selection of dangerous objects; calculating a dangerous zone along the trajectory of movement and behind the PME; in case of detecting dangerous objects, informing the user about the potential danger by transmitting data to the warning module; speed and braking are limited depending on the degree of danger and response of the PME user.

EFFECT: higher safety of PME.
