FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a coated metal pipe, which includes a metal pipe and a multilayer coating film, which covers the outer peripheral surface of the metal pipe. Multilayer film of coating includes chemical conversion layer and layer of primer, and these layers are provided in specified order from external peripheral surface of metal pipe. Chemical conversion layer contains zirconium oxide and/or zirconium hydroxide. Primer layer contains polyamidoimide. Primer layer does not contain epoxy resin, or the fraction of epoxy resin in the primer layer is 50 wt. % or less in weight of the primer layer. Also disclosed is a method of producing coated metal pipe.
