FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to heat power engineering, to methods intended for conversion of heat energy of gas and liquid flows into another type of energy, in particular, to electric or mechanical energy. Increase in the efficiency of the heat conversion method in a wide range of operating conditions is ensured by providing at the inlet and outlet of the compressor optimum pressure values of the compressed carbon dioxide gas for the given operating conditions. In the heat energy conversion method, optimal values of compressed carbon dioxide pressure at the compressor inlet and degree of pressure increase in the compressor for the ambient operating temperature range are determined. At that, pressure value at inlet from range from 13 to 35 atm is chosen, and degree of pressure increase from range from 2.2 to 5.9. Circuit of the system is filled with compressed carbon dioxide, the optimum pressure at the inlet and outlet is set by adjusting the volume of gas in the system.
EFFECT: high efficiency of the method of converting heat energy in a wide range of operating conditions of the heat recovery system.
