FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to organic synthesis, specifically to a method of producing 1,2-bis-styrylfullerene. Substance of the method consists in fullerene (C60) with phenylacetylene in chlorobenzene in the presence of EtMgBr and Ti(OiPr)4, taken in molar ratio C60 : phenylacetylene : Ti(OiPr)4 : EtMgBr = 1:(2–4):(1–3):(8–12), at temperature of 80 °C for 10–30 minutes.
EFFECT: invention can be used as new promising materials, namely components of modern solar panels and field-effect transistors; obtaining 1,2-bis-styrylfullerene (1) with output of 10–80 %.
