FIELD: cattle breeding; veterinary science.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to poultry keeping and vaccination of birds. Disclosed is a method for vaccinating birds, comprising applying an effective amount of a cooled aqueous pressure composition containing a vaccination agent on a population of birds, wherein the composition is applied to a population of birds at constant pressure and flow rate and over a period of time which is a function of the rate at which the bird population passes by the spray nozzle. Poultry population is transported continuously, and the aqueous composition is applied at a temperature sufficient to maintain infectious concentration of the vaccination agent during application. Also disclosed are an apparatus and a system for realizing said method, as well as a method for applying the aqueous composition of a vaccine to a population of chicken.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides higher titre of vaccine applied to birds during processing.
