FIELD: veterinary medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to veterinary medicine, namely to systems and methods for destruction of outer membrane of oocyst in a solution and delivery of the solution to mucous membrane of a bird’s muzzle. The system includes a vessel containing non-destroyed oocysts in a solution, a chamber for treatment of oocysts, and an outlet for delivery. Non-destroyed oocysts are moved from the vessel through the treatment chamber, and part of oocyst membranes is destructed, releasing sporocysts, the resulting solution is moved from the treatment chamber to the delivery outlet, where the solution is delivered to a bird. Vaccination methods, including vaccination against Eimeria infection, are also proposed.
EFFECT: invention allows for destruction of oocyst walls and delivery of released sporocysts to a recipient in a real time mode, increasing vaccination efficiency.
