SUBSTANCE: air supply unit (10) has: compressor device (14), air drying device (16), housing (18) for sealing device (14) of compressor and device (16) for air drying and cooling device (20) for cooling installation (10) of air supply, which can be actuated irrespective of operating mode of compressor device (14). Additionally, sensor (28a, 28b, 28c) is provided for temperature measurement of air feed plant (10) depending on one measured temperature value. Cooling device (20) has a fan device for creating a flow of cooling air passing through housing (18), which has inlet (22) for cooling air and outlet (24) for cooling air. Device of fan of cooling device (20) is located so in or on housing (18) that it can create a flow of cooling air passing through housing (18) from inlet (22) for cooling air to one outlet (24) for cooling air.
EFFECT: prevention of thermal overheating of air supply unit.
