SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rail transport, particularly to sound suppressing devices for an air drying unit. Sound suppressor device for an air drying unit of a compressed air supply system comprises a housing on which there are inlet and outlet holes to supply and discharge to the outside the air discharged from the air drying unit, condensate-laden compressed air. Inlet includes at least one front pre-chamber of the sound suppressor housing, which is includes several parallel connected post-chambers that are arranged around a heating rod located centrally in the sound suppressor sounding.
EFFECT: to provide better sound suppression.
