FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aircraft takeoff devices with shortened runways. Accelerating device for takeoff of shipborne aircraft comprises accelerating trolley (1) located under acceleration path (2) of runway. To the front part of trolley (1) rope (7) of towing winch (8) is installed, located in opposite side from starting position of aircraft, with drum (9) of cable coiling and multiwinding electric machine (10). Acceleration device also includes traction frequency converter (12), capacitor storage (16), as well as reversible rectifier (17). Return-braking winch (20) is located at the starting position. Input of rectifier (17) of reversible frequency converter is connected to buses (14) of alternating current, and output of inverter (18) is to windings of electrical machine (21), shaft of which is connected to common shaft of drum (22) and electromechanical controlled braking device (23) of reverse-braking winch (20), and rope (24) of drum (22) is attached to trolley (1) rear.
EFFECT: invention provides takeoff of heavy aircraft with additional increase of load from shortened runways of aircraft carriers or aerodromes and increases efficiency of use of energy and power resources.
