FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, namely, to steel for production of high-strength bolts. Steel contains, wt. %: 0.50 to 0.65 of carbon, from 1.5 to 2.5 of silicon, from 1.0 to 1.6 of chromium, 0.4 or less of manganese, from more than 1.5 to 2.2 molybdenum, 0.03 or less in combination of phosphorus and sulphur, iron and unavoidable impurities is the rest. In structure of steel there is spheroidized and dispersed intercellular cementite.
EFFECT: providing high resistance to delayed destruction, and manufactured bolts have ultimate tensile strength of 1500 MPa or more.
