FIELD: motor vehicle industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automotive industry. Car and light-truck pneumatic tire with two-layer carcass comprises tread, breaker, screening layer, sides, carcass of two rubberized cord layers, sealed film, process rubber layer, bead with one side ring and filling cord. Tire is characterized by making single layer of inner group of carcass cord layers with turning on bead ring and single layer of outer group of smaller width without turning about bead ring. Frame is made of cord layers with breaking strength of thread of not more than 30 kgf/thread and with equal ratio of threads in carcass layers in base layers equal to 100–130 threads at length of 10 cm, with angle of cord layers in frame of 85–90°. Method of tire carcass fabrication includes preliminary duplication of the first rubberised carcass cord layer with sealed layer and process layer, their further application on semi-flat assembly drum, operation of applying a second rubberized carcass cord, operation of fixing the side wings with turning and folding the first carcass cord to the bead ring. Method is characterized by fixation of bead wings by turning and rolling only of first layer of frame cord to bead ring with subsequent application of second layer of cord of smaller width compared to first layer, without its wrap around bead ring.

EFFECT: increased service life of tires, as well as improved operational characteristics of tires.
