SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of automobile tires, in particular to the construction of covers for pneumatic radial tires, and can be used in the tire industry for tire covers 12.00 R 20 with a ply rating of 16 – tires 12.00 R 20 with a maximum permissible load of 3,350 kgf on a single tire with an internal tire pressure of 7.7 kgf/cm. Cover includes a tread, a belt, side frames, a frame consisting of outer and inner groups of layers of rubberized cord (2 layers of cord in the outer group and 3 layers of cord in the inner group), bead rings, filler cords, side strips. Bead is made with one bead ring, the number of bead wires in the section of which is from 112 to 144, and between the curls of the inner group of carcass layers made of cord filaments with a strength of 22–25 kgf/thread, with a filament frequency of 112 pieces per 100 mm, an angle of the cut of the cord layers 90°, and the inner layer of the outer group of carcass plies made of cord yarns with a strength of 22–25 kgf/thread, with a filament frequency of 85–90 pieces per 100 mm for the outer group of carcass plies. With the angle of the cut of the cord layers 90°, there are duplicated between them two side belts, the strength of the yarns is 1.0–1.3 strength of the carcass yarn, the ratio of the thickness of the duplicated side belts to the total thickness of the layers of the inner group frame in the section passing through the base of the filler cord is 0.66. On the inner side of the last layer of the outer group of carcass plies is a textile bead tape with an angle of 45°, the thickness of which is 0.5 of the total thickness of the outer group of carcass plies, and the strength of its cord filaments is 1.0–1.3 strength of the cord yarn.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to reduce the cost of manufacturing tires while maintaining the overall performance and performance characteristics of the covers of the pneumatic tire, to reduce the labor intensity of its manufacture, to increase the manufacturability of production.
