FIELD: environmental protection.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to environmental protection and can be used for biological treatment of soil contaminated with heavy metals. Method involves planting a mixture of the following components: 30 % timothy grass, 10 % false oat-grass, 20 % yellow melilot, 30 % meadow fescue, 10 % of yellow alfalfa with application rate of seeds of 15–20 kg/ha, with its subsequent mowing at the stage of vegetation period and harvesting. First, at the stage of rough planning works, soil is treated with brown coal crumb with application rate of 200–220 kg/ha.

EFFECT: invention provides cleaning of contaminated soil from heavy metals; brown coal crumb additive improves growth parameters of the grass mixture, which increases weight of extracted heavy metals from soil.
