FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: device for protecting juvenile fish from ingress into a water intake structure comprises a fish shield with a filter element installed across the water course, and a compressed air source communicated with the perforated air ducts. Perforated air ducts are installed before the fish-shielding screen, which is made in the form of detachable filtration cassettes. Perforated air ducts are located at a distance from each other at a distance providing formation of chaotic movement of water masses along the entire cross section of the water course. Compressed air source is equipped with ozone generator.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of protection of juveniles with simultaneous improvement of ecological state of aquatic environment.
