GEOTUBE AND PLANT FOR SEPARATION OF SUSPENSIONS DUE FILTRATION USING GEOTUBE (VERSIONS) Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC B01D29/11

Abstract RU 2712603 C1

FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to technologies for separation of solid and liquid phases, in particular to devices and methods of use thereof for separating suspensions by filtration, and can be used for purification of natural water, domestic and industrial waste water, extraction of minerals, extraction of bottom sediments from various water bodies. Invention objective consists in creation of a geotube and installation with the help of which it is possible to efficient dehydration of a water-saturated suspension and to release a geotube from sediment for its multiple use. Through port 7 toroidal geotube 3 is filled with water suspension 8. After filling of geotube 3 with suspension 8 and end of intensive filtration process, at which filtrate is removed from entire surface of geotube and from lower part 1.1 of pipe 1, lock 4 is opened between external and internal surfaces of geotube 3 and release of dehydrated residue 9 from geotube 3 is started. For this purpose, under the action of mechanical force 5, axial movement of pipe 1 is performed inside geotube 3, displacing internal part of geotube 3 relative to outer one and turning filled geotube 3 inside out for extraction of dehydrated residue 9. After geotube 3 is freed from deposit 9, pipe 1 is displaced in response to mechanical force 10 to return geotube 3 to torus-like shape. After closure of lock 4 between external and internal surfaces of geotube 3 it is again ready for next cycle of filling with water-saturated suspension 8.

EFFECT: high efficiency of using a geotube and a separation installation of suspensions using a geotube, owing to a technical solution which provides multiple release of the geotube from the sediment.
