FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technology of producing ozone-resistant ultra-filtration ceramic membranes, which work stably in the process of cleaning aqueous media in the ozone scrubbing mode. Thin-porous membrane layer is deposited on large porous inorganic substrate in two stages. At the first step, an aqueous suspension containing inorganic fibers, powdered titanium dioxide particles and hydrated titanium dioxide sol are tangentially supplied to the substrate, followed by thermal treatment in an oxidative atmosphere at 500–600 °C at the second stage, colloid solution of hydrated titanium dioxide sol stabilized with hydrated zirconium dioxide sol is supplied frontally onto the deposited layer and fired in oxidative atmosphere at 900–1,100 °C.
EFFECT: providing a threshold for retaining membrane material at level of 0,01 mcm with a spread of the retention threshold value of not more than 30 %, high ozone resistance of the membranes and longer life of their stable operation.
