FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for separation of gases by adsorption, in particular to adsorbers for cyclic adsorption-desorption process of air separation. Adsorber for short-cycle free-surface adsorption, which contains housing filled with sorbent, and installed inside at least one hollow two-section partition and holes for supply (removal) of processed gas medium and withdrawal of target component, equipped with filtering partitions. In the convergent part of the conical partition there is a filtering device, and in the adsorber cavity above the filtering partition there is a layer of water absorber, the rest free space is filled with zeolite in lithium form. A special feature of the adsorber is the use of sodium zeolite NaX as a water absorbent, wherein the ratio between the volumes of sodium, calcium and lithium zeolite is expressed as ratio of 1:4:5.
EFFECT: invention allows improving adsorber operation reliability.
