FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: device has a housing 1 in which there is a monolithic adsorbent 5 and socket pieces for inlet and outlet of the treated gaseous medium and collecting the desired component. The adsorbent used is a monolithic zeolite block in form of a hollow cylinder. The socket piece for inlet of treated gaseous medium and outlet of the production gas when regenerating the adsorbent is clamping and is made in form of a perforated pipe placed in the housing with possibility of back and forth movement. The second socket piece 3 for inlet of production gas when cleaning and feeding the product gas for washing the adsorbent when regenerating the adsorbent is immovably joined to the housing. Between the clamping socket piece 6 for inlet and outlet of gas and the face of the monolithic zeolite block 5 there is a perforated plate 7 having projections for centring the zeolite block.
EFFECT: apparatus increases reliability of the adsorber when used in reversible stream, provides uniform flow distribution, reduces hydraulic resistance and weight of the adsorber, as well as its size.
