FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measurement equipment and can be used in magnetometry. Essence of invention consists in the fact that in thin-film magnetometer of weak magnetic fields at angle α to difficult magnetization axis of thin magnetic film by means of additional magnetic system and low-frequency generator of rectangular current pulses a modulating field is formed, wherein amplitude of modulating field is greater than value of anisotropy field of thin magnetic film, output signal of amplitude detector is supplied to first input of synchronous detector, to second input of which receives reference signal from low-frequency generator, wherein the output of the synchronous detector is connected to the compensating magnetic system and simultaneously is the output signal of the device.
EFFECT: high sensitivity and low drift of the zero value of the output signal of the magnetometer.
