FIELD: pipelines.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to means of detecting leaks caused by leakage of a pipe gate. Essence: gate control device (20) comprises housing (22) with cavity (30), as well as fugitive emission detector. Cavity (30) in operation adjoins passage (17) for gate rod (14), has a fixed volume and is hermetically isolated from ambient medium. Detector of fugitive emissions includes sensors (42, 44) of fluid temperature and pressure inside cavity (30) and processor (40). Processor (40) comprises an input for receiving data from sensors (42, 44), a data processing unit and an output for providing indication of fugitive emissions.
EFFECT: technical result is reduction of labor costs and higher accuracy of leak detection.
