FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to systems for controlling migration of elements of heavy metals in material for filling the mined space of coal mines and, in particular, to a system for controlling migration of elements of heavy metals in material for filling the mined space based on principles of electrophoresis. Proposed system comprises direct current source, current conducting plates, grate tubes, prefabricated pipeline, discharge pump, water tank and drain pump. In the mined space parallel to the coal face at a certain distance from each other there are current-conducting plates arranged in series with each other in a row, wherein the length of each row is equal to the length of the coal face; two adjacent rows of current conducting plates are connected to different poles of direct-current source, wherein grate tubes are laid under current-conducting plates connected to negative pole of current source. Ions of heavy metals under action of electric field can be concentrated around current-conducting plates connected to negative pole of current source; then the pump is actuated so that dirty water is discharged into the water tank through the mesh pipes and the collecting pipeline, which is then brought to the processing surface by means of the drain pump.
EFFECT: due to this invention it is possible to efficiently control migration of ions of heavy metals in containing rock in mined-out space and to reduce level of contamination of heavy metals passing by nearby underground water in material for filling of mined space in form of empty coal rock.
