FIELD: hydroacoustics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hydroacoustic equipment, particularly, to hydroacoustic antennas mounted on submarines, surface ships and underwater vehicles. Technical result is achieved due to that a hydroacoustic antenna having a modular structure, in addition to hydroacoustic receivers, hydroacoustic screens and cables, includes a fairing having high sound transparency at all viewing angles and mechanical strength in the composition of each receiving hydroacoustic unit of the hydroacoustic antenna. Such structure of receiving hydroacoustic units excludes the need to cover the entire antenna with a fairing, which is a ship structure, which, in turn, enables to increase the field of view angles, strength, improve fabricability and repairability of shipborne hydroacoustic antennae.
EFFECT: simultaneous increase in the sector of viewing angles, strength, manufacturability and repairability of shipborne hydroacoustic antennae.
