SUBSTANCE: invention relates to tunnels laying. According to the present invention, disclosed is a sealing device used in inspecting a borehole chamber of a shield boring machine, and a machine for panel boring, wherein the device comprises: a sealing device body, a first sealing element having a circular shape and a rotary support member. In the sealing device housing there is a mounting hole made in the axial direction of the sealing device housing, and a sealing cavity made along the periphery relative to the mounting hole. First sealing element is installed in sealing cavity, rotating support element with possibility of rotation is installed in sealing cavity in axial direction of sealing device housing, wherein rotary support element is located between sealing device housing and first sealing element. Between the rotating support element and the first sealing element there is a cavity filled with liquid and intended for filling with liquid. In the sealing device used when inspecting the borehole chamber of the shield boring machine, according to the present invention, due to the liquid filled with the liquid, which fills the cavity filled with liquid, can exert pressure on the first sealing element, so that between the first sealing element and the element installed in the mounting hole, more tight seal and good sealing effect.

EFFECT: due to the presence of the rotating support element, the rotating support element can jointly rotate with the element installed in the mounting hole, and the force applied to this element is reduced, and the moment of resistance to rotation is small.
