FIELD: railway transport.
SUBSTANCE: inventions group relates to the field of railway transport, in particular, to mechanisms for converting the axial load of wheel sets with variable gauge, devices for unlocking wheel sets and wheel sets with variable gauge. The transformation mechanism comprises a mounting base with a horizontal through hole and a jacking shaft. The shaft is located in a horizontal hole in the base. At the end of the shaft, a groove is made perpendicular to the axis of the hole. A positioning piece is installed in the groove. A positioning recess is made at the other end of the shaft and the base. The shaft is stationary when the positioning part is in the recess. When an axial load is applied to the shaft, the positioning part disengages and the jacking shaft is released. The unlocking device contains a pusher rod. The rod is used to apply an axial load to the shaft. The wheel pair contains an axle with a central through hole, a rod and a jack shaft.
EFFECT: invention simplifies the change of gauge.
