SUBSTANCE: screw conveyor has an inlet end and an outlet end and comprises a screw shaft, wherein the inner part of the screw shaft is hollow to form a central passage passing therethrough; screw blades, at that screw vanes surround the outer wall of the auger shaft; and drive element intended to bring auger shaft into rotation. In the screw conveyor due to the fact that the screw conveyor screw shaft inner part is hollow for the central channel formation, the ground can move along the central channel, etc., which eliminates the need for a separately installed pipeline for transportation, and not only reduces the space occupied by the central channel and screw conveyor, but also eliminated possibility of undesirable influence of each other central channel and screw conveyor due to their location relative to each other, which expands range of application of screw conveyor.

EFFECT: according to the present invention, a screw conveyor, a machine for shield driving, comprising such conveyor, and method of its control are disclosed.
