FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to antenna engineering and can be used in transmitting active antenna arrays in radar and radio communication. In method of multilobe beamforming of transmitting active antenna array, output power of all power amplifiers connected to inputs of emitters is set equal, and the phase of the incident wave at the input of each radiator, using the phase changers connected to the amplifier, is set equal to the negative value of the phase of the weighted sum of the values of the partial diagram of that radiator, determined relative to the phase reference point common for all radiators, in the required directions of the antenna beam pattern maximum peaks with arbitrary weight coefficients identical for all radiators. Axisymmetric transmitting active phased antenna array comprising emitters located on an axisymmetric surface along its generatrixes with a constant angular pitch along the circumference guide, is characterized by that output power of all power amplifiers connected to inputs of emitters, setting the same, and the phase of the incident wave at the input of each radiator, using the phase changers connected to the amplifier, is set equal to the negative value of the phase of the weighted sum of the values of the partial diagram of that radiator, determined relative to the phase reference point common for all radiators, in required directions of antenna beam pattern maxima with arbitrary equal weight coefficients for all radiators, wherein angles of direction of antenna beam pattern maximums are selected uniformly along rotation angle about antenna axis, and weight coefficients are equal to each other.
EFFECT: maximum potential of active antenna array is achieved.
