METHOD FOR LOCAL MODIFICATION OF WOOD IN BUILDING STRUCTURES Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC B27K3/08

FIELD: woodworking industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to woodworking, particularly, to production of locally modified wooden building structures. First, on separate section (2) of wooden building structure (1) holes (4) are drilled in a pattern to install injectors (3) in design position. Injectors pitch along the structure length is equal to 200 mm, and the depth of the injectors installation holes is 5 mm less than the section width. Injectors are installed with the help of self-tapping screws (6) into the design position using the resilient sealing material (5) along the wood and metal injector interface. In order to control the modification process and its indication in the extreme step, the injectors are not inserted into the holes. Then vacuum bag (7) is formed, air is pumped through perforated vacuum line (8) and after 20 minutes along modifier feed line (9) at pressure 0.2–0.3 MPa modifier is supplied during 20 minutes. Structure is held to cure modifier and vacuum bag is removed.

EFFECT: reduced consumption of raw material and energy resources.
