SUBSTANCE: disclosed group of inventions relates to the field of industry associated with rewinding of a polymer film from large rolls into smaller sizes suitable for wrapping various goods and goods, where preliminarily elongated polymer film is used and can be used in manual and machine wrapping devices. Method for production of rolls of pre-stretched film includes a stage of preliminary stretching of film using a preliminary film stretching unit, comprising a set of serially arranged rollers, configured for preliminary stretching of film, and a step of winding the film into a roll using a film winding unit to a roll comprising a film winding roller and a film winding roller being pressed thereto, wherein during the film winding step, a pulsating hold of the film winding roller is applied to the roll of the film winding.

EFFECT: simplified method of production of rolls of pre-stretched film and machine design for its implementation.
