FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering and power electronics and can be used in construction of starter-generator systems for aircrafts, in which static energy converters are used to achieve quality parameters of output energy. Starter-generator system of an aircraft, comprising a synchronous generator with excitation from permanent magnets, a parallel semiconductor converter based on series-connected bidirectional dc-dc converter, built on the basis of bridge circuit with high-frequency transformer, inductive-capacitance filter at output and capacitive divider at input dc-dc of converter, and a bidirectional ac-dc converter based on a voltage inverter with pulse-width modulation, an inductive-capacitance filter at the input ac-dc of the converter, at that, to output of synchronous generator with excitation from permanent magnets is connected to frequency converter with natural commutation based on direct frequency converter, which output is connected to three-phase load of alternating current and to clamps ac-dc of converter, built on basis of bidirectional voltage inverter, which output in DC link is connected to clamps of bidirectional dc-dc converter, in-series connected to storage battery and DC load.

EFFECT: inclusion of direct frequency converter with natural switching into starter-generator system allows to expand functional capabilities of starter-generator systems for aircraft and gives them an adaptive character (Smart Grid), due to generation of AC of constant frequency at variable frequency of rotation of synchronous generator shaft, as well as implementation of electric starter start-up, both from DC and AC networks.
