FIELD: nuclear power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to nuclear power engineering, in particular, to electrical equipment of reactor plant of NPP with VVER RU. In tubular electric heaters unit, including cover and tubular electric heaters, which are tightly fixed in cover by means of welded and soldered connection, wherein the tubular electric heaters consist of a heating element made in the form of a wire spiral, a protective shell in the form of a tube, an insulator and current leads, the heating element is proposed to be made from a heating cable in a heat-resistant metal shell.
EFFECT: technical result of this invention is creation of device TEHU with double metal barrier between heated medium and current-conducting living heater TEH, guaranteed by centering of wire current-conducting spiral in protective casing TEH, low temperature of current leads and one sealed TEH sealing joint of TEHU cover.
