FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: tubular electric heater comprises a heating element made as a coiled wire wound onto a ferromagnetic core and fabricated of an alloy with high specific resistance and an insulating oxide film at the surface; the above element is placed into a sealed case made of a metal with high thermal conductivity. The space between the heating element and the case is filled with an insulating material with high thermal conductivity. Ends of the heating element are coupled to insulated and sealed current feeders outputted through a sealed insulating end part of the tubular case. The ferromagnetic core insulated from the coiled wire along the whole length of the heating element has a point electric contact with the coiled wire at one end, which is connected to one of current feeders, at that its other end is insulated from the respective current feeder coupled to the end. Insulated current feeders are copper or copper-plated.
EFFECT: increased efficiency factor of the heater by an increase in heat elimination at stable power consumption.
