FIELD: radio equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio engineering and can be used in multichannel monopulse detectors-direction finders of radio monitoring systems for solving problems of radio monitoring of radio-frequency sources. Method is valid for antenna systems with arbitrary structure and characteristics of the antenna elements directivity, as a result of which invariance of the decision statistics is ensured to change in the ratio of the signal levels in the channels, including those caused by mutual effects in the antenna system.

EFFECT: high efficiency of identifying multiple sources of frequency-inseparable signals by stabilizing the level of correct identification and reducing the level of false identification of radio-frequency sources located near given directions, in real conditions at unknown noise intensity and difference of received signal amplitudes from antenna outputs with arbitrary directional characteristics.
