FIELD: transportation; technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to device for feeding melt of rocks. Device for feeding melt of rocks contains metal box, on inner surface of which heat-insulating plates are fixed, consisting of two parts – base and cover. In the box base there is a tray made of sintered silicon carbide and resting on refractory bricks. Inside the box there are heating elements made of silicon carbide to heat the tray to preset temperature.
EFFECT: technical result is higher reliability of structure.
