FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for making fibre from molten minerals, specifically multiple-draw hole feeders for making fibre. The multiple-draw hole feeder for making continuous fibre from molten rock has a housing joined to a draw plate and current leads on the longitudinal axis of symmetry of the draw plate, an arched perforated heating screen connected to the current leads and placed over the draw plate with the greatest distance from its longitudinal axis of symmetry and the least distance to draw plates furthest from this axis and defined distance between the outermost draw plates. The cross section of the arched perforated heating screen is in form of an inverted cycloid. The perforations are in form of a flattened cone with taper angle of 8-12 degrees.
EFFECT: stability of temperature conditions for formation of fibre and reduced breakages.
