FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for mechanical treatment of pyroxilic powders, specifically to a rotary machine for cutting porous hydroxides of pyroxilic powders. Rotary gunpowder cutting machine comprises: a frame, a powder cords supply assembly, equipped with supply and pressure drums, comprising a clamping plate, for pressing and controlling the height of the supplied powder cords, a frequency converter for changing the cutting length of the powder cord, a cutting unit comprising a faceplate with fixed knives, device for lifting and clamping of upper drums, made in form of pneumatic cylinder with lever, and control panel with sensors of control and control of all units. Circular plate is made with holes for removal of cut powder elements, suction of powder and fine dust of potassium sulphate, and cutting unit is equipped with nozzle for dust suction. Cutting blades are arranged at a distance from the chamfer plate to exclude the stagnant zone. An antistatic agent dispenser is installed in the unloading section of the cutting unit.

EFFECT: providing the possibility of cutting porous powder grades of pyroxiline powders, wherein cutting of other pyroxiline powder grades and possibility of instant stopping of the machine in case of emergency are not ruled out; increased efficiency and service life.
