FIELD: cutting.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for mechanical processing of explosives and can be used in production of fine- and medium-grained pyroxilin powders, in particular, at cutting of powder cords into elements of specified length and geometrical shape. Rotary cutting machine comprises a frame, a feed unit made in the form of feed and pressure drums and containing a clamping plate with a layer height controller of the supplied powder cords. Cutting unit is made in the form of faceplate with knives fixed on it. Machine comprises device for lifting and clamping of upper drums, made in form of pneumatic cylinder with lever, and change in length of grain is controlled by frequency converter.

EFFECT: machine ensures stable geometrical dimensions of produced powder elements at cutting along whole plane of knife, absence of places of accumulation of powder dust, possibility of adjustment of length of cutting of powder cord and loading of machine, which increases efficiency.
