SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to sealing bolts. Sealing bolt for sealing the container cover on the container body comprises a sealing head, a sealing rod, a pin connecting said seal head to said sealing rod; a conductor passing through the transverse passage in said pin, a resilient member configured to displace the pin into a first position in which the conductor is compressed. Pin is configured to move overcoming the biasing force applied by the resilient element to the second position by applying a predetermined tightening torque to the sealing head. Sealing unit comprises tracking and detection unit including transmitter and detector, and processor. Processor is configured to determine that the finger has been moved to the second position the first time when it determines that the signal detected by the detector has been subjected to a predetermined change. There is also a method of installing a sealing bolt.
