FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a sealing system for sealing a container cover to a container body, for example, for storage and transportation of nuclear wastes. Sealing system comprises at least three marks configured to be installed on container cover or container body, wherein each label has a unique identifier (ID) and comprises a first RF transceiver configured to transmit, when used, a corresponding first RF signal. System comprises at least three retainers configured to be mounted on another of said components - container cover or container body, wherein each retainer has unique ID and comprises a second RF transceiver configured to receive, during use, first RF signals. Lead unit connected to marks and retainers is configured to (i) determine for each label associated with its ID corresponding current 3D position based on received first RF signals, (ii) store previously determined 3D positions for each label and (iii) generate an alarm signal and/or time mark and/or record when determining that the discrepancy between current 3D position of one or more labels and the corresponding previously determined 3D position exceeds a predetermined threshold distance.
EFFECT: technical result consists in provision of reliable and accurate detection of container opening and closing events and registration of these data with simultaneous registration of event time.
