FIELD: sealing equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to sealing equipment and can be used for sealing flanges of industrial pipelines, particularly in heat and nuclear power engineering, in chemical and oil and gas industry. Seal gasket for flange connection is made from non-asbestos-sealing material and is arranged between flanges of flange joint, tightened together by multiple fasteners. In sealing gasket during its manufacturing there are sensors of axial load registration. Sensors are made with possibility of their connection with unit-recorder connected to external computer and serving for processing of signals from specified sensors. Sensors used are fiber-optic sensors based on a Bragg grating, the number of which is equal to the number of fasteners of the flange connection, and a flexible thin-film sensor with piezoresistive sensitive elements. Flexible thin-film sensor is located inside the sealing gasket in a plane perpendicular to the axis of the sealing gasket. Fiber-optic sensors are located inside the sealing gasket in the plane of the flexible thin-film sensor and uniformly distributed along the periphery of the sealing gasket.
EFFECT: proposed invention, due to that in sealing gasket for flange connection made from non-aspartate sealing material, inside it there are sensors of two types – flexible thin-film sensor with piezoresistive sensitive elements and fiber-optic sensors based on Bragg grating, makes it possible to control values and uniformity of tightening force of fasteners of flange connection at installation works, provides possibility of early detection of working medium leaks, thus providing reliability of seal and, therefore, guaranteeing safe operation of equipment.
