CONDITIONING METHOD OF SLUDGE DEPOSITS OF STORAGE POOL Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC G21F9/16

Abstract RU 2713734 C1

FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technology of processing materials with radioactive contamination. Method for conditioning of sludge deposits of storage pools involves proportioning components of components of cement compound into container, mixing cement compound using a mixer, which is driven into rotary motion of electric drive, registration of achieving specified volume of liquid radioactive wastes and cement compound in container, control of agitator operation time. Sludge deposits are supplied to vibration grates of different size and fractionation is carried out. Produced fraction is mixed and screw-fed by agitating to homogeneous mixture fed via batcher into cyclic gravitational mixer equipped with mass measurement device, cement, clinoptilolite and, optionally, water are added in such quantity that pulp-cement and water-cement ratio are equal to 0.7 and 0.3 respectively. Loaded components are mixed, and produced homogeneous mixture is dosed and continuously supplied to containers, which are directed for burial.

EFFECT: invention increases efficiency, reduces time for conditioning radioactive wastes in form of sludge.
