FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device and method for modelling shapes of materials and a method of making three-dimensional braided fibrous components. Device comprises: a unit for forming a field of orientation vectors, which forms a field of orientation vectors of the shape of the model on three-dimensional grids of the shape of the model of the three-dimensional braided fibrous material, which is obtained by stacking a plurality of sheets of two-dimensional woven fabric made of X-yarn passing in X direction and Y-yarn passing in Y direction and binding them with Z-yarn passing in Z direction; a parametrization unit which searches for a gradient vector for calculating a field of orientation vectors of the shape of the material, which is a field of orientation vectors of the shape of the material before deforming the shape of the model, from the field of orientation vectors of the shape of the model; and a unit for updating orientation vectors, which updates the field of orientation vectors of the shape of the model by applying a condition of storing the volume between the field of orientation vectors of the shape of the model and the field of orientation vectors of the shape of the material and the condition that neither X-yarn nor Y-yarn is stretched or compressed.
EFFECT: technical result consists in automation of modelling forms of materials.
