A method for three-dimensional modeling of personalized maxillofacial implants for modeling the shape of the chin is proposed, which includes obtaining a model of the patient's skull by segmenting MRI and CT data, 3D scanning of the patient's face, obtaining a parameterized digital 3D model of the implant using a functional representation of the geometry, followed by personalization of the implant parameters for a particular patient.
