FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to the field of maxillofacial surgery, and is intended for 3D modeling and manufacturing of personalized medical implants, in particular, implants used in maxillofacial surgery for facial contouring and intended to change the shape of the chin. A method for three-dimensional modeling of personalized maxillofacial implants for modeling the shape of the chin is proposed, which includes obtaining a model of the patient's skull by segmenting MRI and CT data, 3D scanning of the patient's face, obtaining a parameterized digital 3D model of the implant using a functional representation of the geometry, followed by personalization of the implant parameters for a particular patient.
EFFECT: aimplification of the process of three-dimensional modeling of the implant.
