FIELD: security systems.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to safety technologies and, in particular, to a luggage trolley, which can be used for inspection for security purposes in an airport, as well as to a security inspection system and method. Luggage trolley for security purposes at airport includes casing, shutoff device and X-ray radiation detection device. Trolley body comprises at least one compartment having a door. Locking device is connected with compartment and made with possibility of compartment lock in case of indication signal reception. X-ray detector comprises at least one point X-ray source; detector configured to receive X-rays; controller configured to control X-ray point source for X-ray radiation when compartment door is closed, and controlling a detector for receiving X-ray radiation penetrating through the luggage and generating an electrical signal based on the received X-ray radiation; collecting device connected to detector and made with possibility to convert electric signal into digital signal.

EFFECT: invention is aimed at increasing safety of passengers luggage at an airport.
